Vile Working On New Full Length Offering

California death metallers Vile working on new full length offering
California-based death metallers Vile are currently recording their new full length offering at Imperial Mastering Studio. Vocalist Colin Davis has issued the following update on the recording process;
We just finished recording the vocals for the new Vile album today. Our singer, Mike Hrubovcak, flew in from Philadelphia last Saturday and leaves tomorrow after a week of recording.
As with the drums, the recording sessions were conducted at my Imperial Mastering studio and we have taken all the time necessary to get absolutely perfect results.
It was a real pleasure recording Mike. He came totally prepared and we spent a lot of time with overdubs and production in general. The end result is going to be a really dynamic and original sound. Also we spent a lot of time making sure that Mike’s performances were appropriate for Vile’s sound but also very clear to allow the lyrics to be understood more easily.
Since I have taken over lyric writing for the band, I wanted to make sure that the relevant subjects I have been writing about get through to the listener. I think the fans will be really knocked out by Mike’s performances when the album is finally released. I believe Mike is one of the worrld’s greatest extreme metal singers and I think that most of you will probably agree when you hear what he has done.
As for me, I am extremely pleased so far. I have really taken total control over all the aspects of the production and when the album is released, it will be obvious that I have done my absolute best to perfect every aspect of the music, lyrics, production and artwork. It’s been over three years and I am almost ready to let this baby go.
We still have to figure out the label situation and all of that, but we are hoping to have the album released at least in a limited way by the fall time with a full worldwide release soon afterwards and we are also starting to plan for a European tour for the spring of 2010. A U.S. tour will follow but we need to make sure it’s a good one.
The album will be the first album released on Colin Davis’ label Ninth Underworld Records.
I’ve been pretty unimpressed by Vile’s releases to date. Unless there are drastic changes to the song writing from their last effort, it’s safe to assume this album will be very skippable.

I really liked New Age of Chaos. I hope they do more stuff like that
I liked New Age of Chaos at first, but it got really boring really fast. Colin has said a lot in the past about the failings of modern death metal but I don’t see any evidence that this cd will be the remedy.
