This gets off to a fairly typical Unique Leader style of US blasting death metal. The triggered drums are pushed to the max with a fat fucking mess of a riff instantly filling my room with a huge modern death metal intro. But to my happy surprise, the song breaks down and lead singer Torturer, goes to work with a rather raspy, shouting, non guttural vocal attack. Here is one angry Italian who isn’t going to play by the rules of death grind. Sure enough the backing vocals throughout this release are guttural and sickening, but Bestial Devastation shine their brightest when Torturer adds a really fucking cool anguished feel to these blood drenched proceedings.

Musically, these guys are capable enough to bring to light most aspects of the death grind genre while preferring to stomp their riffs into piles of murky gore. I find that the band is at the most punishing when relying on straight forward blasting through my ears, although they are not shy of quick tempo changes in an effort to keep the listener guessing.

Bestial Devastation select a rather violent, destructive and obscene presentation for these thirteen odes to pathology with topics ranging from cervical cancer to gonorrhea and syphilis. Don’t miss the sexy tambourine in "Steptococcus Agalactiae" or the video clip for the track of the same name.
