I get e-mails from Pivotal Rockordings every so often hyping this band. So this is what it’s all about? Generic-sounding metalcore with a lead singer adopting Korn-isms? I’ll admit to having listened to Korn a decade ago when my tastes were shifting from alt-rock/"indie music" to metal and I was the staunch Atari Teenage Riot fanboy. That me is long dead and his tolerance for stuff like Atari Teenage Riot, Korn and the desperate bid for mainstream attention that Bedtime Prayers represents went with it.

You know who would like this album, though? World Wrestling Entertainment! They have this new thing called "Extreme Championship Wrestling." I haven’t heard that much of it but they have this vampire character, some fat shirtless black guy with crap drawn all over his boobs and some guido named Tommy Dreamer! This "new breed" of "death metal" would fit in perfectly with A New Breed Unleashed™ - ‘CAUSE IT’S "EXTREME!" E C DUB! E C DUB!
