Enmortem is a band from around the same area that has produced such underground luminaries as, Corpse Vomit, and Scepter, in the death metal genre. Enmortem is a three piece highly influenced by bands such as Incantation and Immolation. The vocals are very deep much like those on first Incantation album, and also like Incantation, the production is not perfect quality. There are two different versions of this demo available, one being 4 songs and the other 7 songs. The 4 song version was recorded on 4-track production equipment and the 7 song version on a simple two track machine. I’m not sure if either one is better really, but the extra tracks on the 7 song version are much better, but the sound is somewhat tinny. Just send him a dollar and he’ll throw both in. I figure Enmortem to be up-and coming in the death metal scene, they play pure death metal in it’s old form of chaotic brutality without childish lyrics.
