Melodic Black Viking Metal
More decent second rate viking metal, whatever value that holds. Track 4 ("Shadow Cult") reminds me a lot of Novembre, if anyone remembers them. Some clean vocals, keyboards and melodic rhythms do well to capture a strong cultural feel, and one could likely find themselves dancing to track 2 ("Legions Of The Empire"). Good production and drum sound, one of few among the slew of current Napalm releases that didn’t fall prey to the clutches of Sound Suite. Sometimes it’s hard not to be a smart ass, ok… sorry. The black vocals are on the tame side, so here’s more metal for people into the non-aggressive sound. Check into this if you really like both Enslaved and Einherjer.
