I must admit that I bought this CD for two reasons. One, the band hails from Colombia, home of the absolutely brilliant Tenebrarum, Typhon and Inquisition. I have never had a bad experience, until now, in purchasing unknown-to-me Colombian metal. Second, the band just looks like they’d kick ass, wearing their Morbid Angel and Burzum shirts, looking like they just got done fucking some chick behind the 7-11 dumpster.

The music is pretty bland death/black metal with the usual thrash elements. The production is pretty subdued concerning the guitars, and they really aren’t playing any truly standout riffs. The vocals sound like an exact copy of the Belgian Enthroned, something that I wasn’t too happy with. Perhaps I was expecting another does of Colombian greatness, but this disc did not live up to my expectations one bit.

The verdict: Pretty standard and bland black thrash. Each time I’ve endeavored to listen to this CD, I couldn’t sit through its entirety. In order to do a full review, I had to take in one or two tracks at a time. Not very impressive.
