Hey kiddos!!! Do you like your death metal bland with a touch of uninteresting and intolerable? If so, than Ingraved is just the band you’ve been searching for. There’s a lot of shitty death metal out there and these dudes are not only card carrying members but also leaders of bringing such music into the world.
There is not a single memorable riff or note on this album that stands out in my head. In fact, the only thing I’m a bit surprised of is that I did not roll up into the fetal position on the floor and convulse uncontrollably during the painful process of conjuring up this review. All the elements of a proper death metal release are found here: Growls, blast beats and double bass, tremolo riffs, a couple of chug riffs and breakdowns yet Ingraved manage to do nothing interesting with any of these things. Even the fact that Hatred From Outside was recorded at Sound Cubed Recording Studio (Bari / Italy) and mastered by Tom Morris at Morrisound Studio does nothing to help things out.
On the lighter side of things, I have to hand it to Ingraved for making me appreciate good death metal more than ever. However, I cannot understand how anyone with an average IQ could possibly enjoy this album as it is so mechanically executed and devoid of any sort of spirit and emotion. Unless you happen to be a half headed mongoloid who spends his or her time watching the Will and Grace marathon, don’t bother.
