Internal Suffering has released a nice, megaton atomic bomb of head-bashing death metal madness. Jesus Tap-dancing Christ, I fucking love Choronzonic Force Domination. It’s one of those albums that takes all the best things you love about brutal technical death metal and just rams it down your throat while skullfucking your sister senseless.

The song-writing is top notch, the music is tight, and the arrangements are varied. Internal Suffering knows all the tricks of the trade and delivers them without flaw. Despite the tried and true Suffocation and Immolation elements that are populated throughout the record, this release rarely gets boring and always bangs away at the audio senses. "Summon The Gods Of Chaos" ranks in as my personal favorite, sounding like some eldritch god that is mowing down the country side, laying waste to villages, and raping and pillaging all that stand in its way. Hell the lyrics even sound like a Lovecraftian chant. Screw Morbid Angel’s Sumerian gimmick, this band can get the otherworldly blood flowing. Top it off with a clean, beefy production brought to the listener by Erik Rutan, and you got a damn good piece of metal.

Choronzonic Force Domination is definitely an album to pick-up this year. It’s fast, brutal, and unrelenting. If this isn’t doing it for you, you’re either dead, deaf, or have evolved to the same netherworld plane of existence as the Gods these Columbians write about.
