Opening up with an Army Of Darkness sample and later on the album a song making fun of hippies, I knew this was going to rip. Grinding with a nice stout production (the double bass sounds full instead of keyboard clicks), these Belgium lads have crafted a mighty fine piece of work. It’s about 29 minutes, perfect for a grind album. If you think otherwise, you have a high tolerance for boredom or are just retarded. Both points also apply if you’re reading one of my reviews. Some may be put off by the "gangsta" image (who in the US with half a brain isn’t sick of this? Well, G-Unit can do it.) and slight use of humor but once you listen, you’ll forget all about it. I enjoy the tongue in cheek aspect because too many metal bands take themselves seriously with evil posturing and end up looking more comical than those who attempt a humorous slant. Besides, the lead singer wears a ninja costume when performing live and that fucking rules in my book. He also gives a damn fine performance. Constantly switching between high, mid and low level screams and growls, he fails to bore. The riffs are somewhat simple but quite catchy, sound fucking sharp and are executed extremely well. The two guitarists can latch onto a groove and completely capture your head, forcing you to nod along. If you don’t nod along, you either have no soul or you don’t know good grind when you hear it. I want to drunkenly run naked around my neighborhood with this album blaring. I want to set things on fire, masturbate furiously and beat up my co-workers. An example of the adrenalin that infects me is about 25 seconds into the song "You Fat Prick". A spectacular riff builds a groove and then a single kick drum stomps slowly building up to the lead singer exploding into a vicious scream and off they go again. Put down that crappy melodic death metal album and get this instead. Turn it up real loud and destroy something.
