Self-described as melodic pop-goth music, Let Me Dream’s Medley Rain CD is a thankfully short four-track album with a running time of less than fifteen minutes. The opening, title, track is a very slow, melodic track with near-grunge sounding guitaring with high pitched keyboards and terrible Pete Steele-wannabe vocals mixed with terrible operatic whines. This is the best track on the album, it gets far far worse as the CD progresses. "Windride" is a continuation of the badly off-pitch singing with a 60’s/70’s, hippy sound to the music, whereas "Julia" is very weak with the worst vocals I’ve ever heard by any band before the mercilessly irritating spacey "From Passion To Void", which sounds like the theme song of some terrible TV series. The thing that scares me the most about Let Me Dream’s Medley Rain is that I’m sure there’s somewhere out there who may actually like this album. *shudder*
