Whoa damn. Now that’s a fucking mouthful to say. Mincing Fury and Guttural Clamour of Queer Decay is as chaotic and bizarrely hectic as its name is pedantic and long. This breed of insanity is sort of expected from Czech grind bands, with their countrymen being guys like !T.O.O.H.! and Ahumado Granujo, but even then you don’t fully realize what kind of insanity to expect from MFAGCOQD until you have sat down and endured their bizarre grind.

And bizarre MFAGCOQD certainly is, even by most Czech stands. Imagine you took a more technical, bass-intensive version of old Alienation Mental, put it into a fight to the death with Pigsty, and then screwed around with some Cephalic Carnage influences. That would be the best way to describe MFAGCOQD. It’s even more appropriate as the band features Pigsty vocalist Topi and Alienation Mental drummer Jarin (though last time I checked their drummer was Jarda… weird).

Regardless of Jarin’s real identity, the music here is a solid, intricate wall of sound that blasts the listener like a tidal wave. The musicianship is tight, the drumming intense and inhuman, yet MFAGCOQD still manages to break down the music for enough time to throw in Gronibard-styled goofing around and hilarity. The EP has some overlap with their split with Screaming Afterbirth, but there is still more than enough material on here to enjoy. Actually, there’s enough grinding insanity in the 22 minutes of the cd to feel like one has just listened to a full length album.

Eye for Eye is a damn solid release from MFAGCOQD. If you like your grind like the Czechs like theirs- bizarre- then Eye for Eye is a must.
