Mieszko A. Talarczyk, guitarist and vocalist of Nasum, is the most pissed off person in the universe. His vocal performance and lyrical work on Human 2.0 reaches such heights of aggression it makes Brutal Truth come off as porn soundtracks, early Napalm Death as the very music they rebelled against and Terrorizer as new age ambience. This goes double for the songs with Swedish lyrics. I had never imagined Swedish could ever sound as insanely pissed off as this. I am considering putting my 83453 grindcore projects to sleep after hearing Human 2.0, ’cause there’s just no way I can be more brutal than this. Bottom line: At their best, Nasum is the greatest grindcore band ever. The only albums I can think of that can touch Human 2.0 with a ten foot pole would be Napalm Death and Brutal Truth’s debuts, as well as their own, Inhale/Exhale (1998). Should "Moral Majority" by Dead Kennedys (In God We Trust Inc. EP, 1981) be rewritten after the release of Human 2.0 the line "Pissed at your neighbor? Don’t bother to nag! Pick up the phone and turn in a fag!" should be changed to "Pissed at your neighbor? No reason to pout! Play Nasum real loud, watch fuckers move out!"
