This album should be called "Kind-Natured Spiritual Walk-Through", for nothing about this is harsh or violent, mostly it comes off as sounding silly. I have never been a fan of Old Man’s Child and this album just drives my disdain for them deeper. What I was interested in, however, was that drum king Gene Hoglan would be playing on this album (on a side note, for those who believe that black metal is not a huge trend right now, did any former well respected musicians ever play on the old Immortal tapes?), but for some reason, his talents are never used to any large degree. Galder, from what I am told, is a huge asshole and show off so it is obvious that he didn’t want a more talented musician to upstage him. On to the music, well, it sucks. The keyboard is over used and often silly and the guitars have a very happy tone to them with their 2-3-2-3 rhythms. The vocals are in the normal black metal style and have no interesting characteristics to them. This album sucks and I would not recommend it to anyone who is not a big fan of this band.
