In the rather pitiful current state of the Norwegian black metal scene, we have a diamond in the icy rough, so to speak, in Tsjuder. This is a fierce and shredding black metal assault which does not let up until your speakers break from the vicious Tsjuder disc blasting through it. Tsjuder play very fast and harsh black metal, and it has a very Satanic and murderous flair to it. Opener "The Daemon Gate" has a great break in the early moments of the song where the vocalist yells "DAEMONS! OPEN THE GATE!" which causes me to reminisce of the intro to Morbid Angel’s Abominations Of Desolation recording. You can’t beat that type of feeling, my friends. The drumming is terrifyingly fast, and solidifies the frantic energy of Tsjuder into a killing machine.

Lyrics deal wholly with the Satanic, and are refreshing to see in a world of hippie pagan woodland worship. This music is about blood and death. The title, Kill For Satan, sums it up right there. Tsjuder have released the best Norwegian black metal CD in recent memory. Comparisons to Marduk may arise, but this is quite above and a thousand times better than what Marduk does.

A sample of "Do I look like someone who cares what God thinks?" starts the CD off, and the resounding answer from Tsjuder is a hellishly great black metal "FUCK NO!" Written By: Sodomy-Kommando
