Hey, what do you know? Another Swedish band that enjoys playing fast yet soft death metal with a love for that rockin’ band known as Entombed. I have grown weary of this type of stuff and I am offended when people state that all brutal death metal is boring. This shit could put an insomniac to bed. What do I hear over yonder? It sounds a bit like Vader, another one of my personal favorites. The music is fast and does not vary in the least. One song after another of mundane death metal.
There is one thing to remember, kids. For ever band that Metal Blade puts out and glorifies in every ball-licking metal magazine, there is an underground counterpart that blows that band out of the water. In this case, I make reference to Iniquity. Inquity is fast, brutal, melodic, and innovative and makes these guys look like Guitar Center interns. Iniquity is the one band that relies on that speed-laden base but adds so much more to the music. Do yourself a favor and if you like this type of death metal, buy the Iniquity catalog of releases and throw everything else out, including this disc.
