I’ve been eagerly anticipating this release for quite some time now. For those of you "not in the know", Whore is the project of former Fornicator vocalist Rob Fornicator and Lord Gore/Maniac Killer/Frightmare guitar genius Maniac Neil. The album is 100% pure hate from beginning to end. Songs like "Rape Up!!!!!!!!!", "Catholic Execution", "Then What Happened…….I Killed Her" and "My Basement Will Be Your Grave" ooze pure sadism not seen since the days of Jack The Ripper. The music is simplistic, yet punishingly effective and somewhat similar to Fornicator and Frightmare, employing a lot of catchy grooves with Rob Fornicator barking, grunting and growling in the inhuman manner that no one can even come close to emulating. Lyrically, well, I don’t think I can even repeat anything Rob burps out without having police kicking down my door, handcuffing me and pistol-whipping the fuck out of me, in other words, this is some seriously twisted shit! I don’t think there will be a large amount of people who’ll be into Whore, since they’re so over-the-top and don’t have that polished sound of bigger "shock" bands, but if you’re fucked up enough to like Fornicator, you’re going to love Whore. This isn’t an album for pansy little scenesters, this is for truly twisted and demented people who love sloppy, angry, spiteful heavy death metal. Maniac Neil seems to be unable to write a single bad album, and considering how much music he writes in a given year with all of the bands he’s in, that’s saying a lot. Now go buy this album or Rob will go to your home and bash your skull open with a claw hammer and force your corpse to suck his cock!
