• New Tracks From Blockheads/Mumakil Split EP

  Metal Underground reports that two tracks from the Blockheads/Mumakil split EP Blind have been posted to Bones Brigade’s MySpace page. Blockheads‘ new song, "Buenosaires", is the usual good grind I expect from Blockheads.  I’m not as crazy about the Mumakil track, but it’s a good choice to round out a split.  $5US, kids!

• Carcass To Continue Playing Shows In 2009

  Blabbermouth reports that Carcass are confirmed for 2009’s Waldrock Festival in Bergum, Holland on June 13th. I’m hoping this means Carcass may hit the road again in ‘09. I saw them with Suffocation, Aborted and 1349 in September and it was easily the best death metal concert I’ve seen to date.
